A 4x15 series documenting the work of volunteers whose efforts aren’t
for the obvious charitable organisations, but whose contributions make
public events and activities possible.  

Each episode will feature one of the following four volunteers, and
demonstrate how giving up their time for the community voluntarily,
makes a difference, the public takes for granted:

‘Frank on Food’ sees charming British chef Frank Thompson explore local delicacies
and local food producers.

This, is the first in a series of cookery programmes presented by Frank explores the
South East o England, as he offers valuable tips on cooking: from shelling a lobster,
to cooking a quick and easy gourmet meal on a BBQ!

Frank has always professed his passion for cooking and says ‘Food and eating are
one of the nation’s favourite pastimes and it was so good to see these restaurants
looking locally for their produce’.

Frank has been teaching at one of the top catering colleges – Thanet College – in
South East England for years and was present when British celebrity chef Gary
Rhodes was completing his training at the college!

Follow Frank’s journey round the country as he encourages viewers to explore their
local town, in a bid to uncover the delights of local produce.
